My name is Mr Gary Homer and I have been the Principal at Calingiri Primary School since the beginning of 2012. I have been a teacher for about 30 years and taught in many places including Canada and China. I enjoy teaching all the students at Calingiri Primary School, but my favourite subjects are science and art. In my free time I enjoy swimming, playing squash, watching the Dockers win and spending time with my family.
I look after the day to day running of the school office and enjoy the daily revolving door of students, staff and visitors to our school. I have lived in Calingiri for over 30 years and have a long history of administration and finance work. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading a good book and getting outside into my garden.
